Polish portal, WysokieNapięcie (High Voltage), published an interview with the president of ElectroMobility Poland (EMP) and included sketches of the electric car that's on their design boards. What is interesting is that a German company, EDAG Engineering, will be responsible for the implementation of production. In the next 4 years the EMP plans to build a factory which in 2023 will produce first 100,000 electric cars.
The factory is to be built at a cost of PLN 2 billion ($530 million). The location is not known yet, but from the list of 17, 3 or 4 locations will be selected, which will be subject to a closer inspection. The whole process should end this year if everything is to go according to plan. EMP also withdrew from the plans for the production of small cars in the A / B segment, the first Polish electric car will belong to the C segment. Actually, it's going to be 3 cars, because the company plans to simultaneously produce three versions of the body: a hatchback, station wagon and crossover.
