Poland has another electric car start-up, Vosco Automotive

Vosco Automotive announced that their electric car, Vosco, will go into limited production this fall. If true, that would make it the first Polish electric car.

The first information about the work on a compact electric in Kutno appeared last year. Then "FSO Syrena" (Siren) presented a series of electric cars. Including the Vosco S106 EV and the concept of "el-Polonez." The plant is trying to follow the line of previously built cars under the brand name Syrena but officially does not have the right to use that name. Hence, the vehicle was presented under the name Vosco after the company's late founder, Mieczyslaw Wosko.

Mr. Wośko, president of a pharmaceutical company, Polfarmex, established FSO Syrena in 2016. In 2018 the company also got approval to produce its first combustion engine car. Now several versions of their first Vosco model, including a pick-up that can carry up to 700 kilograms, are being used by Polfarmex.

The electric car will have a range of 250 kilometers (155 miles), and the battery can be charged in an hour.
